This cutting board is entirely handcrafted from start to finish using a single piece of solid wood—no glues or adhesives involved. Each board is treated with a hand-applied, all-natural polish made from organic coconut oil and beeswax, providing a protective finish with a beautiful glow. The finish is non-toxic, 100% food-safe, and free of any VOCs. We recommend using one side for cutting and reserving the other for serving or display. Due to the natural variations in wood, your board will feature its own unique grain and color, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind.

- To Clean: Sprinkle coarse salt | Rub and squeeze lemon, cut side down on board | wait 5 mins | Scrape and discard remaining liquid with bench scraper | Rinse | Pat dry and lean upright
- To Sanitize: Spray board with 1:1 apple cider or white vinegar and water | Wait 10 mins | Spray board with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide | Wait 10 mins | Rinse | Pat dry and stand upright to air dry | Oil once fully dried
- To Oil: Use a clean soft cloth to apply coconut oil to the board in the same direction as the grain | Aim for a thin, even layer across the entire board | Use as much oil as the board with absorb without leaving puddles | Let sit a few hours or overnight, preferably in a warm space | Wipe off any excess oil and buff with a clean dry cloth if it feels oily or tacky
